Cuitadella, Menorca

Cuitadella is the second largest town on the island......
In years gone by.....we have sailed into the port, on our summer holidays.......and we have fond recollections of it!
When we were here earlier, we used to have to jostle for a good safe mooring......out of the path ....and the ensuing wash of the ferries.....
Today there is a new ferry port....in a different place!....partly because the ferries are bigger and running to a tight schedule.......and I'm sure the ferry skippers are quite pleased that they have a dedicated port.....so they don't have to keep a constant look out for small pleasure craft ...like us!
