Well, thank you very much Doris!

We usually get away with it in high winds but Storm Doris proved too much for our 20 year old fence. However, it is only one panel and I had a length of wire fencing which I have stapled onto the posts, after fixing the left one back to the wall with BIG screws and BIG rawlplugs. The whole panel and left post was ripped off by the huge gusts this afternoon.
Looking out of the window now, 1800 (The Chase has just finished) it looks much, much, calmer.
Goodby Doris, you certainly made your mark!

And on a good note, I get my MX-5 back this evening and Marlane picked up the Suzuki Alto from my friends garage after I took her down in yesterdays Quirky car.
