The Doris effect
Apparently there was a storm last night. Doris swept through but I heard her not. Apparently the bedroom window had to be shut because snow was piling against it and it was blowing hard, but I slept on and by the time I woke it was raining.
However, the hills still look picturesque, and higher than usual in their white coating. This is taken across Benmore and Stratheck towards the hills of which my grandson once enquired: "Are these Scottish mountains?"
And yes: they are.
