What's a bird got to do to escape being blown about by this storm called Doris. I sheltered behind the greenhouse and I looked through the lounge window for ages but I was ignored both times.

Luckily for the humans involved Doris, for us, turned out to be a normal Winter storm with winds gusting to 60 mph and the main rain band clearing by breakfast time leaving a sunny, showery blustery day. Not so lucky unfortunately were those much further up country who bore the brunt of the storm
