My Pitcher plant

I watched a fascinating programme about Marianne North yesterday evening. She travelled the world painting botanical pictures of wonderful plants like this pitcher plant. She has a permanent exhibition of her work at Kew gardens.  A most amazing and talented Victorian lady.
