Doris!

...nearly left me stranded in Nottingham this afternoon as all the trains were cancelled and all of the coaches were full. I really needed to get home as I have a hospital appointment first thing tomorrow. In all of the chaos at the station I met a man who also needed to get back to London so we went off in search of a cab. At the cab office we met another lovely man who was willing to share his cab with us. The taxi driver was in his third trip of the day to London! He did a great job and I was so relieved to finally get home.

So here we have my view on the M1.
