AbstractThursday87 Carnival

This week's optional theme, kindly set again by Ingeborg is 'Carnival' This can mean a festival with music and dancing, and using masquerade, or it can mean a funfair, or circus.
With limited materials to hand (and even more limited time) I've done my best to create something hopefully in the spirit of carnival. A merry-go-round of card that was an advent calendar containing tealights from a well know brand of candle makers and a dressing up mask make the basis . I've layered several images and tweaked the colours to make the whole thing more festive looking.
It did provide a welcome respite from the work of the paid variety that has been piling up on my desk recently.
In other news: Storm Doris hit the UK today. Here in the West Essex the effects have been relatively minor while in Scotland there has been heavy snow. Quite a bit of damage everywhere and number of fallen trees and sadly a life lost.
