Globe thistle

Today's the day .............................. not to have a barbeque

It was a fine enough morning - blue sky and sun - and so I said, "Let's have a barbeque tonight when I get home from work?"

Might have known though - by the time I did get home - it had turned into a miserable, cold, wet evening. So the chicken has gone in the oven instead - and here's a picture of a brave globe thistle, pretending that it's enjoying being out there in the cold ................................
