Skywater

Temperatures in central Pennsylvania have been oddly mild for this time of year, and there is no longer ice on the Arboretum's lily pond. It will be back again, I'm sure, as this is February, not April.

I was fortunate to spend just a few minutes observing the morning drama of clouds and light, and the sky show was reflected on the lily pond. Such clouds! Much show! What sky! And also: complete peace; very zen.

I stumbled upon an angelic-sounding cover of the Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac masterpiece Rhiannon this week, and it seems like a lovely, peaceful little tune to contemplate skywater by. So here it is: Alice Kristiansen and Jessie Maria Villa, with Rhiannon.
