Sophie Goes For A Drive

A day of firsts for Sophie & me: the first time she'd been on a double decker bus and the first time I'd used my Old Gits's Bus Pass - I'm not sure that's it's official title :)

On the way to Wells, Sophie was fascinated by being able to see things from the lofty position of the top deck; on the way back, she enjoyed pretending to drive the bus. As you can see, it required a lot of concentration.

In between we fed the ducks or, more accurately, the voracious seagulls at the Bishop's Palace moat and had lunch in the cafe by the Palace.

Off out for a meal to celebrate a friend's forthcoming 50th birthday this evening.

A sad anniversary today however.
