Flight of the Foo Birds
Hid indoors from Doris yesterday although the Island didn't suffer as much as further North so it was good to get out today for a beach walk in the sunshine with no wind.
It was low tide and busy feeding were several flocks of Brent geese (hope I have identified them correctly) This group made for a wonderful sight and sound as they flew past giving the Olympus 12-100 zoom a good test subject. Hand held at 35mm. equivalent of 200mm.
In the background the Portsmouth/Ryde hovercraft which was cancelled all day yesterday because of the wild conditions can just be seen back into normal service.
