Secret sunny space

When the room was being altered and the door taken off to be made into a sliding door, a wee alcove was created. I wanted to put some dried flowers or something in there but my other half at the time said that no one would see it.

I wasn't able to persuade him, before the door was rehung, that that had been the point. The sun reaches into there about 11am but only if it's very sunny. So. This is a sight that makes me smile whenever I see it - because that's not very often.
