Old Pier, New Pier

Swanage is where I am for a few days. I arrived this afternoon and after a coffee and a bite to eat I checked into my hotel which seems very comfy. I walked down to the front and got to the pier at a quarter to four. You can have a quick walk but we're closing in fifteen minutes, said the man. Bums, I thought, no time for a long exposure then!

Just a couple of shots and then I walked round the corner to the beach but it was clear that the only place you can get a shot of both piers is from the pier. It's not so bad for me, I'll get a second chance but the couple I saw on the beach who drove down from Newbury (3 hrs) on the spur of the moment aren't so lucky.
