BFG

Yesterday was a jigsaw day to see out Storm Doris and hopefully regain some energy.  Today the sun was out so we drove over to Harrogate to Spa Cycles to look at their bike panniers and came away with a bar bag and a set of rear panniers which will do the job nicely.

We couldn't go out Harrogate way without lunch at Betty's at Harlow Carr so that was our next stop.  After eating we did a circuit of the gardens.  Spring is on the cusp so the only real colour came from tiny irises lining the beds.  We will return in a few weeks when all those swathes of daffs and crocuses are out.

From there we called in at the Blue Barn for a sack of sunflower seeds and then to Waitrose's in Otley for the weekend's shopping.

I've finished the jigsaw so there is no excuse for avoiding exercise tomorrow, although I'm going to wimp out of Parkrun so I'm not done in for the Northern Champs in the Lake District on sunday!

It was good to see the BFG still smiling in the Gardens!
