Nature's Treat
This was one of our trip highlights...
A very early rise at 4 o' clock...or should I say "silly o'clock", Ron ;-), a quick cup of coffee and half an hour later we were on the road for a promising sunrise shoot. Unfortunately I forgot to fill up with petrol the day before, so I had to calculate the available range carefully. Anyway, as good preparation is always essential for landscape photography, I already had a location in mind which was just within range. When we arrived near Loch Tulla, the sun was still below the horizon, there was a beautiful mist above the loch and the sky was changing colours from violet to orange. Then when we entered the parking place, there was that majestic deer in the fields of mist. Quickly I got out of the car, set up the tripod and started to enjoy the scene... an orange sky, layers of morning mist above loch Tulla, mountains around and in front of me this beautiful animal. What a lovely dawn patrol!
