As it was!

I haven't touched this photo other than make it black and white, the amazing sky is real.

This is Burghley House and Park the home of the Burghley Horse Trials, which started here yesterday. The horses are magnificent, fit and glossy and dancing on their feet. Today was dressage and although this is great to watch it hasn't got the thrills and spills of the cross country which is tomorrow.

I took lots of horse pictures trying to practice panning and getting the horses still sharp in focus, I didn't find it easy. I was quite pleased with the results but none of them jumped out at me like this photo did - so this got blipped!
