The Tower

Hayley was working at the chemist in our town today so I drove her into town after so she could meet a friend, don't know what's wrong with the bus service these days.

On the way home I decided to go via Langhill Farm, parked the car and went for a walk to the edge of the woods to get a good shot of the tower. What I wasn't banking on was stepping in what I thought was dry ground but oh no, it was mud, cows pee and it smelt awful.

Finally I got to the edge of the wood smelling slightly off but hay ho, you sometimes have to suffer for your blip. This is the Dryden Tower. A look out tower from way back but not sure what century. On the way home, shoes were in the boot and I was driving with my socks on, difficult I know but don't think it will catch on.
