Changeable Day

After popping into the Country Market in Cockermouth this morning, it was such a lovely day we decided to make the most of it.
We set off for Grasmere but as it was the last day of half term it was heaving with cars, so plan B came into action and we set off for the Langdales. We stopped on the way to walk the dogs, as you see from extras Rip doesn't walk far now and stopped for a rest, it was so clear we could have stayed up there all day. As we went up the Langdale valley the weather worsened, thick mist and sleet, so no stopping there. We came back through the Duddon valley and just had to drop by my favourite valley Wasdale (extra) it was wet, miserable and cold there but still beautiful. More pics on my FB page.
