244/366 - Leaving on a jet plane....

...... I wish!

We went to the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport today. Last time I went there was with my Dad when I was a teenager. We used to cycle there all the time. In those days it was little more than a hut with a dirt track of a car park. Needless to say it has changed a bit. Concorde is housed in one of the hangers, they now have more planes to look around, more seating and a couple of places to eat and more importantly a play area for madam.

There were lots of hardcore plane spotters with their radios... so that is one bit that hasn't changed. We waited for the Airbus 380 to arrive from Dubai. I am surprised at how it actually gets in the air. Its huge!!
