Best Part of the Day

Sunrise over Lake Superior - heavenly!   Up with the sun today.  This was taken from the front porch of the home we are staying in.  Because the house is not a rental yet, we needed to clean and wash the towels and bedding before we left.  With everyone helping out, the packing and cleaning went quickly.   We were planning to spend tonight in Duluth, but heavy snow is being predicted for over night so we will head home today to avoid driving in the snow.  Hard to believe after this sunny, warm weather we have had.  (update:  NO SNOW fell!!).   We have had a wonderfully relaxing week away with good friends.  I didn't read all of the books I brought but did manage to get through three of them!   Good bye to the big lake until next time.
