Reaching for the heavens.

Ely Cathedral. . . . What a simply amazing piece of arcitecture. The sheer scale of this building, inside and out, is just jaw dropping.

I'm far from being a religious person, but churches in general fasinate me, with the ornate stone carvings, and the way that they're all 'roughly' laid out the same, but no two are quite the same, and all seem to have their own individual 'look'.

If any of you are in the Ely/Cambridgeshire area and have never visited, then its well worth taking the time to have a look around.
