Oops!

Last Sunday as she was about to go to church Mrs AMK decided to give her blue suede boots a spray with " Suede & Nubuck Renovator " that she had bought the previous day. 
Why she had bought "black" and why she decided to do it on the utility room wooden floor with her boots still on is beyond me.  There was an anguished cry when what she thought would be a colourless spray led to a large mark on the floor which she has spent this week trying to remove with various stain removers , white spirit etc

Her friend P popped in today and was shown the mark so having done a google search she arrived later with a large eraser and the suggestion to rub in baby oil if that didn't get it off - here is Mrs AMK trying the rubber. 
I was sent to buy baby oil and had to explain to the man in the chemists why I just wanted a cheap bottle !

I have to report that there has been an improvement in the stain and more rubbing will be done - the suede boots were none the worse.
