Hidden fungus

Hidden: Take a photo of something hidden

Final day of missy moo's August challenge and taking a rather circulous route home I ended up on Yateley Common, a site of special scientific interest. I enjoyed my walk round the pond and through the woodland, but did't think I'd find a hidden object until I came across an area covered in leaf mulch.

Looking closer I noticed the area was also inundated by common earth-balls, virtually invisible in the gloom and mulch. So here is my interpretation of today's theme.
