Julia Carter Preston

When we first came to Liverpool we went to Julia Carter Preston's pottery studio in the Bluecoat and bought this plate. The Bluecoat is now celebrating its 300th year and there are several interesting exhibitions underway. These include this photograph of Julia taken in her studio in 1958- twenty years before we went.
