That would be right...

...the alarm went off at 5am this morning so I could run before work. I looked out and it was snowing. I brushed my teeth...I pondered...I got back into bed...I got out of bed and got ready to run.

The last time I didn't go out at the beginning of snow fall it was five days before the pavements were run-able again...this was my deciding factor.

Once out I realised that we were dealing with an inch of slush...it was slippy and I kept throwing up large dods of the stuff that clung to my running tights. That was the underfoot conditions. Round about me the sleet continued to fall and it was blowing a hoolie...fun, fun, fun!

But I did 6.5km...frozen pavements with bottle glass impacted snow were not going to thwart me:-)

This evening I walked home from the station in the stillest of evenings...with not a drop of sleet/snow to be seen on the pavements.

A couple of runners passed me, they looked like they were having quite a pleasant experience...

I am grateful for our ever changing weather fronts :-)
