Henry's Christening

This was the reason for the holiday at this time. A large family gathering. Henry slept through most of the ceremony only to wake up and cry when the cold water was poured on his head! The celebrations continued all day. A very happy day. Tomorrow we fly back.

The christening gown was made for James, when he was a baby, by my sister in law and had been used many times since.
