Bring and Share Lunch!

I had a lovely picnic with Catherine, sitting on the banks of the Cherwell just as it merges into the Isis in Christchurch meadows. This is another place, and more particularly another person I will very much miss when I move in October.

The ducks in Christchurch are not what you would call shy. It was a bit tricky taking a photo while being pecked at by this duck! She had one foot on my lap in the end in an attempt to get my bread. Another snuggly duck :0) And while I was having fun laughing at her, another duck came up very stealthily on my right flank and stole my sandwhich out of my hand! Cheeky ducky.
