Time out

Lincoln refused to eat his dinner tonight. I gave him a choice of either food or time out. Unfortunately olive was already in time out so he wanted to stay. A solid half an hour later and he ate about 1/4 of his tea. Sort of a win.

Tonight a funny thing happened. I read a pop up book to the boys. Both have read it before (Elliott had seen it only 2 hours before) but when I got to the big pop out page at the end of Thomas crashing both boys were terrified. Elliott even screamed. I decided to do it again more slowly to show them how it works but both still got a fright. I think they were feeding off each other. Very interesting.
