Raindrops Keep Falling on my Tête

I spoke too soon on Friday when I said I was starting to feel better, I had an awful night coughing and didn't get to sleep until about 3am on Saturday morning, so was tired yesterday.    So we've had a weekend at home, Alan's been fitting a light in the porch and I used the time to sort out the holiday clothes, so that's a good job done.

This morning we went shopping for holiday shoes for Alan, he got two pairs plus a pair of walking shoes - the walking shoes weren't planned, but they were reduced and he needed some.  I also got some new flip flops and a pair of cropped trousers (also not planned!).  Then we decided we should get some neoprene aqua shoes for when we're at the water park, so living by the beach we stopped off at one of our local shops who had lots, but just not in my size.  There was one pair that fitted Alan, so he got those, and I'll order some from Amazon as I'm not going to have much time to find some this week.

Other than that, I'm having a lazy afternoon and the weather is awful, so it's perfect for a sofa day while the Sunday roast is cooking.

My tête-a-tête daffodills have started to bloom and I thought they looked nice and bright on an otherwise grey day.  

Five days to Dubai and while we're there, were going to meet up with GadgetKid & G which will be nice.
