March lilies; nature knows

Despite the drought and not having been watered for months the lilies seem able to sense the changing seasons and have started to flower. 
I had a bit of fun with this image which was taken on a beautiful, wind-free evening. I sent it to special friends I've not seen nor spoken to for a while, to let them know I was thinking of them.  <3
