Speed of light: Part 2
Tonight was my second performance of the Speed of Light. Most of you will have seen me talking about it by now. Last time I was part of the Yellow group running on the Arthur's Seat side of the hill. Tonight I was part of the Pink group on the Salisbury Crags side.
This picture was me experimenting with a slow shutter speed app that I got on my iPhone last week. Not bad, considering it was taken between runs!
I had so much fun, we had a great group tonight, full of energy. The route was harder than last time though and because of the rain earlier and a particularly steep section, we all fell. I think my total was 5 times. I'm so graceful!
Tonight I ran the early session so I was finished by 11.30. As I was leaving Kirsty, our run leader, gave me a hug and said I was the best number 2 ever! Is that really an accolade I want? To clarify, we run in a number sequence - the team leader is always 1 so I was directly behind her. It's the hardest position to run, apparently.
I'm now going for a bath and then will probably be out like a light! Goodnight folks!
