Modelling

This morning I travelled up to my sister's to visit the family in their new home.  They have been in their house for about three weeks and its already feeling very homely.  After a tour of the house and some lunch we went out for a walk in the wind and the rain. With our wellies we were well equipped to trample the paths over the fields to Wickstead Park.  Oliver showed me a giant witches broom growth on a beech tree and wondered if it was a giant squirrel's nest.  However it is a growth caused by the tree being infected with a pest or disease.  Here is Oliver modelling a hat he got from Father Christmas - in case you haven't guessed, he is pretending to be a dog!
