Gnarly old tree

Reconnoitring a walk for the long walking group.
Route around Debden and Newport.
This ancient tree stump was a few hundred metres from Debden Church.
The walk came out at a tad over 10 miles but had a couple of detours where the path was unmarked.
Probably have to add another mile when we do it with the group.
