Mapping out the future

Bryan, our friendly painter and decorator, managed to hang the wee man's historic wallpaper the other day.  The map dates from about 100 years ago and displays both our house, and the boy's school.  There was little surprise in his delight when he arrived home to see it.

We spent the afternoon at a 4th birthday party for one of his friends.  It was a little chaotic but I really enjoyed getting to know some of the other parents a little better.  My workmates are great but it's brilliant, after almost 8 years in Edinburgh (minus 2 in SD), to finally make friends away from the office.
