Shark!
Here Mr B is showing some pals how to defeat a shark (you have to really want to see it).
Up at a reasonable hour, including the teenage sleepover group. Pancakes, musical interludes, and eventually they all left. Seems like it was a successful event - they are going to make it a regular thing (even though they were no bother, I'm hoping it's not always here.)
Lunch, then off to a basketball competition with CarbBoy (which I had totally forgotten about until a friend mentioned it yesterday). It's something you have to be invited to, so quite an honour really. Dull for parents though, so we happily leapt on the suggestion of a walk in the Sidobre with some other parents. They (especially Monsieur) speak enough English that I don't have to stress about Mr B, and instead can just have a chat with Madame.
Where we were is called Le sentier des merveilles, and there are a series of (fanciful) descriptions of what the rock formations look like. So, this is a shark (trust me, it's a lot more evident than the elephant).
With basketball done for the day, home for dinner and Modern Family. And Mr B being dubbed a strange cave for echoing everything said a little too late.
