The Annals Of Forres

My mum miraculously got hold of a copy of this book ( printed 1934) for my dad in 1964. Born and bred in the town of Forres, it was a special gift for my dad, especially as 1st edition copies were ( and still are) 'as rare as hens teeth'. It lists the history ( in a mere 600 pages) of the buildings and the people of the Royal and Ancient Burgh from the year 1500 and is, I guess, an heirloom and a most precious piece of MY history.
