Lunar Landscape
We took a drive across the Mount Teide lunar landscape this morning. We were above the clouds and the sky was so blue. We took the cable car and walked to the top many years ago when our sons were young. Today we just watched the queues of people waiting in line from afar. Later we went down to the coast to Garachico which used to be the main port of Tenerife before the volcanic eruption of 1706 which destroyed the port. The gate in extras is all that remains and was the gate which everyone entering or leaving the city had to pass under.
