Nothing remarkable

Nothing particularly remarkable happened today.  

The weather took the expected turn back to winter which meant more birds at the feeders.  

I had a leisurely chat with my parents on the phone this morning - they are well and now in Indio, CA for a week or so, walking and geo-caching.

Opted not to visit MIL today - I was just too tired and decided instead to take a long nap.  My body has a way of telling me when it needs a time-out.  

Today's bird... and American Goldfinch in it's winter plumage, a bit drabber than it will look in summer, but handsome just the same.
