Derelict Sunday - Random Hut
The final day of the quilt show at Harrogate - and yet another busy one. Not as busy as day one overall - but at peak times we were swamped.
Very, very pleased with the overall result. So pleased in fact that Mrs madwill has booked again for next year. She has also booked in for the much bigger Northern Quilt Show in September. (Eeek!). The promotion of the studio has been fantastic - so many local quilters did not know about the studio - and said they would come and look (if only a few turn up it will be good). There have already been a few bookings for workshops come through!
It took us just over an hour to knock down and pack up then another hour to transport back to the studio and unload. We just left it all in the bags and it will have to be restacked on Monday.
It was getting dark as we left - and I stopped to grab this shot of a little derelict 'hut' on the trading estate - opened the car window, leaned out and pointed the camera, too lazy to even get out.. It is quite a grainy shot as I had to use ISO 200.
Chinese takeaway for tea - and a 'vegetate in front of the TV' evening!
Thanks to 60plus for hosting the DS challenge
