Lewis
Lewis the Beagle walks past my place each evening with his Dad. Tonight Pepper and Lewis met on the strip outside. Blipless I went out to join them. Lewis had a measured approach, Pepper was more enthusiastic but is being well trained by her Mum and Dad.
Meanwhile on the inside of the fence the still very dirty Benedict showed bravery and stalked up to the fence. But Pepper spotted him and the little pope streaked away from the fence.
The little pope remains as dirty as in yesterday's blip. It's not just his paws he rolled onto his back last night and his usually snow white undercarriage is black and grey.
It's a greasy soot that gathers on the fish smoker so yeah, it's going to be there a while methinks.
The buyer confirmed he and his partner are happy with my compromise negotiation on the price of the house. They'll get done what needs to be done and I've dropped the price to help towards the cost.
You can argue and fuss about what's fair and what's not but it's minuscule in the scheme of things and I'm happy to leave the issues that come with a 40 year old 2 storey home behind.
He's just got the insurance nut left to crack. The insurance embargo remains in place but he's worked hard with his bank to get cover. It appears on track for 1 March when the sale is due to go unconditional.
Meanwhile hpx will be putting an offer in on a house tomorrow night. I don't have sweaty palms. It's a day at a time and quietly getting on with what needs to be done. There isn't any point to worrying about what I can't control.
