Once More, and then Goodbye
Yes, another sunset. Boring, I know. But this is my last one in Colorado, so humour me.
I say goodbye to my friends here tomorrow (for now), and start the long drive back home. Back to the real world. Back to alarm clocks and traffic jams and smog and humidity and no stars and no horizons. Twenty-three hours' drive time, and I awake to find that I never left at all, and everything is exactly the same as it ever was. I'll miss the dream, but it'll slowly fade away, until one day soon it's nothing more than a few (hundred) photos on a hard drive.
So, yes, I think I'm going to indulge in one more shot of mountains beneath a beautiful, late afternoon sky. I hope you don't mind.
:-)
