An official member of the library

Little Mouse now has his own library card and we got this lovely bookstart pack to start us on our reading journey.

Well actually it's not a start for us as I know the importance of reading so have been reading to him right from a few days old. But I hope to foster and create a love for the library in him, it's a great way to find new and interesting things to read but it's also such and important service that we need to support for now and generations to come.

I was very impressed that such a wonderful gift is given to babies I just hope that every baby is lucky enough to claim one (apparently they are often given out by health visitors but mine made no mention of it, I didn't know until I was looking on the library site for baby activities).
