Lesotho water

A wee stop off on our way home to watch white water rafters making use of the powerful flow of water coming from the Lesotho Highland Water Project.

Not so long ago we were dependent on the supply from Lesotho keeping us going and now the sluice gates on the Vaal Dam have been been opened as it is overflowing.

The drought is officially over, in this part of the country at least, sadly not the same in the Cape.
