Red Turtleneck Saturday

Erik and his dad had this tradition, when Erik was a kid, of wearing both red turtlenecks and go together to get doughnuts on a Saturday morning. When he told me this the first time I found it kind of weird but also very cute. So when I knew we had a boy, I thought of the moment when all three Uzureau guys would go and get doughnuts on a Saturday
morning. So this year I gave all three of them a red turtleneck as a father's day gift, but June is pretty hot, so we had to wait until the weather got more appropriate. We still need to do this when Papy is home. So here are father and son, in the elevator, going for croissants (that's right, they had to do a small variation due to geographical issues).

Erik y su papá tenían esta tradición, en la que los dos se vestían con cuellos de tortuga rojos e iban juntos a comprar donas el sábado en la mañana. La primera vez que me contó esto me pareció un poco extraño, pero a la vez tierno. Así que cuando supe que teníamos un niño, luego luego pensé en el momento en que los tres chicos Uzureau irían juntos, en sus cuellos de tortuga rojos, a comprar donas. Así que este año les regalé a los tres un cuello de tortuga rojo como regalo del día del padre, pero hacia demasiado calor en junio, así que tuvimos que esperar a que el clima fuera mas apropiado.
