Happy Birthday Mae!

My beautiful granddaughter Mae celebrated her 12th birthday today (27th)! She is growing into a beautiful, thoughtful and kind girl. This is one of my favourite pictures of her, of many taken.
I remember as if it were yesterday, receiving that telephone call announcing her arrival into the world. We were living in France at the time and had several friends round for Sunday lunch - we all shed tears of joy that day and she has given us joy ever since.
