Long and Winding Road

A beautiful sunny day, the wind picking up in the afternoon.

Today it is Andalucia Day, which is celebrated to mark the area becoming an autonomous community of Spain in 1980.   So a holiday for all (well, except the restaurants and bars).   And the weather is perfect for it too.

We had a short walk into the Nature Park - I am still on light walking duties - so only went a short way.   This is a little way into the 11 km route around the Park heading towards the Lighthouse and taking in the Lakes and the beach on the return.   We have promised ourselves to do this in April, when hopefully will be fit enough.

It does, however, stretch  further, in fact straight through to Roquetas.

Musn't forget to do pancakes tonight!
