New York frame of mind

At least that's what our fire escape always makes me think off. Glad there was no need to use it today, it's treacherous enough on a sunny summers day.
Anyhoo, it snowed, everyone panicked. It stopped, it melted, it was gone by lunch.
Same old same old.
