Tiny Iris reticulata have just opened. Spring seems to be nearly here. 
The roof is finished and the tree man appeared today also, so we are clear of a lot of dead stuff, some of which was ready to fall onto the drive or onto power lines. It is very quiet without all the thumping on the roof and the noise of the chipper.
