King Cake

Mardi Gras and the first day of Lent started today. We kicked it off with a King Cake sent over by a friend from New Orleans. The fun part is whoever finds the toy baby baked into one's portion has to make the cake next year. No baby in mine, so we're saved from culinary disaster.
I've been to Carnival twice in my drinking days....what fun! I remember it well.
