Carnaval in Caravelas - Day 2
It's 4AM now. We're tired, happy and packed with new and beautiful memories of people we met. But before we go to sleep for a few hours, I want to share this picture with you.
The Carnival parade, that should have started at 7PM was a bit late and began at 11PM. It wasn't a problem, really, because there was so much else going on. And then we didn't regret it. Lots of colours, costumes, music, faces. There were the usual beautiful women, but the face that fascinated me most was this very old man, totally concentrated on his choreography.
Unlike Carnaval in Rio, where they select the most beautiful young dancers and musicians for the samba competition, Caravelas presented a wonderful mixture of young and old. Everybody was just having fun.
As an extra, one of the ladies in her beautiful and lavish costume.
Good night, blipland.
